How I Style Stripes

Hi there!
I was a little hesitant about posting today's post. I made a little photoshoot with me as a model, but I'm a little shy and awkward, so i wasn't sure to publish. Something told me to be brave and do it. So please don´t be mean, i'm not a professional poser and definitely not a model.
This post is about stripes, in the post "The Closet Confidential Tag" i wrote about my obsession with stripes, i don't know, there is something about that print that inspires me, and i think could go with any style and personality. So here it is! I hope you enjoy it!

Estaba un poco indecisa en publicar el post de hoy. Hice una pequeña sesión de fotos donde poso diferentes outfits, pero soy un tímida y torpe, así que no estaba segura de publicarlo. Algo me dijo que fuera valiente y arriesgarme. Así que por favor, no seas malo, no soy una "poser" profesional y definitivamente no soy modelo.

Este post es acerca de rayas. En el post "The Closet Confidential Tag", escribí acerca de mi obsesión por las rayas, no sé, hay algo en ese estampado que me inspira, y creo que podría ir con cualquier estilo y personalidad. Así que aquí está! Espero que lo disfruten!

1. Denim and Stripes, Always a Winner

Who doesn't love denim and stripes together? I paired this Zara t-shirt with Boyfriend Jeans and Cut-out boots also from Zara. I made the chain necklace with the material coming from my mom's old belt. /¿Quién no ama el denim y las rayas juntos? Combiné esta t-shirt de Zara con boyfriend jeans y mis botas con cut-outs también de Zara. La cadena yo la hice de un viejo cinto de mi mamá. 

2. Overall and Black&White

The beige overall is perfect for summer and very on trend . I love how the stripes give personality and edge to the outfit.  I pair the outfit with my beloved black jelly sandals from a local shoe store. Oh, btw, these 2 items were thrifted. / El overall beige es perfecto para el verano y muy a la moda. Me encanta como la blusa de rayas le da personalidad al outfit. Combiné el outfit con mis amadas jelly sandals negras de una tienda local de zapatos. Ah! por cierto, los primeras dos prendas las compré en una venta de garage.

3. Mixing Prints: Floral and Stripes

Yes, you can mix prints, but you have to be wise. I mixed these two prints because they have things in common; the navy blue, and the subtle prints. As you can see the flowers from the skirt are very small and the t-shirt stripes are thin. The skirt was my moms again (Thanks mom for keep all these items for years). The glitter jelly sandals are from my little sister, also from a local shop./ Sí, es permitido mezclar estampados, pero hay que ser muy sabio. Combiné estos dos estampados porque tienen características en común; el azul marino, y el estampado pequeño y sutil. Como puedes ver las flores de la falda son pequeña y las rayas de la t-shirt son delgadas. La falda era mi mamá, (Gracias mamá por haber conservado estas prendas durante años). Las jelly sandals con brillo son de mi hermana, también de una tienda local.
